Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the convo.pirx.ai website (the "Site") uses, why we use them and how you can decide about them. It complements our Privacy policy, which contains the full details of the data controller and a description of your rights.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. Only the site that stored them can read them. In this policy "cookies" also covers similar technologies, such as data kept in the browser's local storage (localStorage). Cookies do not damage your device and do not contain viruses.

Who is responsible for cookies on the Site

The Site is run by GONG (pirx.convo is a GONG brand). The full details of the controller are in the Privacy policy. For anything cookie-related, write to convo@pirx.ai.

Legal basis

Storing information on your device and accessing it is governed by Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, which implements the EU ePrivacy rules. Cookies necessary for the Site to work do not require consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are stored only with your consent. Where data from cookies can identify you, we process it on the basis of that same consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How you give and change consent

  • On your first visit we show a banner with the buttons "Accept all", "Only necessary" and "Customise". Refusing is as easy as accepting.
  • Until you make a choice the Site stores necessary cookies only. Analytics and marketing scripts are not loaded at all.
  • We store your choice in the cc_cookie cookie for 6 months. After that we ask again.
  • You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Change cookie settings" button below. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before.
  • When you withdraw consent we delete the cookies of that category stored under the Site's domain. Cookies stored by third-party domains (e.g. linkedin.com) can be removed in your browser settings.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the Site: which pages they view, where they come from, at which step of a form they leave. We use them only to improve the Site. We use PostHog (data processed on servers in the European Union) and Google Analytics loaded through Google Tag Manager. With your consent some events (for example a page view) are also recorded on the server side under the anonymous identifier from the vid cookie.

Marketing

Let us measure our advertising campaigns and tailor pirx.convo ads on Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn and Google Ads. We use Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Google Ads tag.

Google Tag Manager does not store cookies itself. We load it only after you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, and the tags it runs receive your choice (Google Consent Mode), so they respect it separately for each category.

Tool providers and data transfers

Data from analytics and marketing cookies goes to the providers of the tools we use:

Google, Meta and LinkedIn may transfer data to the United States. This happens on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses. See the providers' policies for details.

Browser settings

Independently of our banner you can manage cookies in your browser: block them, delete them or get notified when they are stored. Blocking necessary cookies may make the Site harder to use. Instructions for popular browsers:

Changes to this policy

When we change the tools or the way we use cookies, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change requires new consent, the banner appears again.
